Week 6 Blog Post site structure
While creating the site structure and task list for my website, I had to look at many other ecommerce sites to observe how they are structured. Most ecommerce sites operate in a similar manner: people create an account, view a product they like, and then make a purchase. I wanted to follow a similar model, but I aimed to be unique with the checkout process.
Most ecommerce sites typically require users to create an account to purchase a product, which can be annoying for many people, including myself. For my site, users will not need to create an account; they can simply buy the product anonymously. This was one decision I made during the planning phase of my site.
While most aspects of the website are similar to other sites, such as the product page and home page, the main difference will be in the design. I plan to make it very appealing to a younger audience. That's what I've been focusing on and working on this week.
